Founded in 1898, Chomarat is an independent industrial group that has become a benchmark in the world of composite materials and technical textiles.
Three activities established on four continents
The Group has three businesses that function in synergy – Composites Reinforcements, Construction Reinforcements, and Coatings & Films – Textiles – together with expertise in the clothing industry, backed by an international organizational structure with four industrial sites in France, Tunisia, the United States and China.
CHOMARAT™ France
Faithful to the region that gave birth to it, the Chomarat ™ Group is established in the Ardèche, where are also the 3 main production sites. Specialized by technology, these three units for the production of textile and plastic coating, textile finishing, special reinforcements for the building and composites cover all the know-how of the group.

CHOMARAT™ North America
Established in Anderson, South Carolina, since 1985, Chomarat ™ has three production sites dedicated to
CHOMARAT™ China
Chomarat™ has been present in China since the beginning of 2010. Located in Taicang near Shanghai, this site focuses on business.
CHOMARAT™ Tunisia
Established for 40 years in Tunisia, the group now has 2 production sites in Grombalia (between Tunis and Hammamet). They comprise two activities.
