CHOMARAT NORTH AMERICA LAUNCHES TWO NEW PRODUCT INNOVATIONS AT CAMX 2023

CHOMARAT, experts in composite reinforcements, is excited to announce the launch of two new products at CAMX 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia. With a dedication to delivering innovative solutions to its customers, CHOMARAT expands its range of composite reinforcements with the introduction of ROVICORE™ FM and C-WEAVE™ Stabilized. These products are designed to enhance the quality and performance of composite materials. Both products will be featured by our partner Composites One in their Closed Mold Demo Zone during the show.

ROVICORE™ FM, a new ROVICORE™ with enhanced cosmetic benefits.

ROVICORE™ FM is a core material designed for closed mold processes.

“It offers all of the proven performance of standard ROVICORE™ with enhanced cosmetic benefits delivered by an integral Polyester Finish mat” explained Chomarat’s Travis Irvin, Sales Manager for Glass Composites.

ROVICORE™ FM improves the quality and surface finish of closed molded parts while maintaining the process friendly conformability and flow characteristics ROVICORE™ is known for. ROVICORE™ FM will be featured by Composites One in a silicone bag closed mold demonstration in their Demo Zone during the CAMX 2023 show. Travis Irvin is facilitating the demo and will be able to answer questions about ROVICORE FM™.

C-WEAVE™ Stabilized for complex shapes.

C-WEAVE™ Stabilized is a range of Chomarat’s woven carbon fabric laminated to lightweight copolymer nonwoven veils.

“C-WEAVE™ Stabilized fabrics help maintain the aesthetics of woven carbon in parts with complex shapes. The veil acts to improve resin flow during processing and improves toughness of finished laminates” said Chomarat’s Chris Mikesell, Sales Manager for Advanced Composites.

C-WEAVE™ Stabilized will also be featured by Composites One in a silicone bag close mold demonstration during the show. Chris Mikesell, Advanced Composites Sales Manager, will facilitate the demo and will be available to answer questions.
